Our Story

It all began with Coralie, who, while planning her own wedding in 2017, couldn’t find a dress that truly reflected her personality. Caught between traditional expectations and budget constraints, she chose to free herself from conventions and design her own dress. Inspired by Asian craftsmanship and a desire for emancipation, her vision grew into a full collection ... and the start of Madame A Dit Oui.

That first dress sparked something bigger. A few sketches turned into a full collection, and a simple wish — to help other women feel beautiful and empowered — became a mission. Madame A Dit Oui was born : a brand built on authenticity, comfort, and personal connection.

During a gap year in France with her partner and baby boy, Maggie met Coralie and discovered the way MADO (Madame A Dit Oui) does bridal. Moved by her warmth and sincerity, she brought the concept home. Today, Australian brides can experience the joy of a MADO dress, created especially for them.

We’ve opened our first Australian showroom in Alexandria, Sydney. It’s a cosy space where we welcome brides in a calm, friendly atmosphere, more like visiting someone you know than stepping into a traditional boutique.
